Slow progress continues on the artistic outlet/side project I shared a couple years ago. As appearances go, this slow progress bears an uncanny resemblance to me picking it back up after doing nothing with it for over a year. Funny thing, that. Much of the delay has been a severe lack of substantive plot development […]
A gray, overcast blanket of clouds pushing from the north coupled with a steep, inclining ascent into the Graves helps ease the oppressive midday heat bringing relief to the scouting party searching for Cedar. Though helpful today, Rihas is certain these clouds proceed cooler air and the arrival of heavier clouds laden with rain for […]
Fourteen years ago, on October 10, 2009, I began a long and self-expressive, creative journey by depressing twelve keys on some bygone keyboard in a deliberate and oddly specific sequence, “Meet Julian.” At the time, I had become fascinated (if not entirely engrossed) by an extraordinary new installment of the Sims franchise, The Sims 3. I’ve taken a short break from writing and rendering over the past few weeks. I’ve been busy sharpening my software development skills, learning Python and Spark, spending some time playing video games, and consuming visual novels. I have stored quite a lot of creative energy and feel ready to continue messing with my fictional people’s […]

Oooooh, I like it. Julian’s such a creep…but I really like him in spite of myself. It takes a lot of skill to make a sim with those traits likable, so good job 🙂 It’s also nice to find a new legacy that employs proper grammar usage. lol

Julian is indespicable, but lovable. Oddly, he is a lot like the character Althalus from the book by David and Leigh Eddings, The Redemption of Althalus. ^-^

I agree with all the comments before me. You do like him in spite of your initial dislike for him. XD I really love reading his development, and refusal to be honest with himself about what he might just be feeling and thinking.
